Director – Education

 1. Mandate.

• Increase education enrolment by chapter members
• Foster and develop an atmosphere which promotes courses and provides encouragement to others in an effort to increase designations
• Contact colleges (Algonquin), and reinforce the value of being an Advocis member.
  • Should try and speak to at least one class per semester

• Establish study groups for (but not limited to) LLQP, CFP, CLU, RHU, Etc….

2. Committee Formation

• If NABBC project goes ahead, then a committee of at least 2 members would be needed

3. Summary of Duties Monthly

• Prepare written report for board meetings, and attend monthly board meeting
• Exams take place 3 times a year, and participation has been increasing, therefore a larger space may need to be found, and more than one proctor will be needed.

Note: National takes registrations, and makes arrangements for exams; the Ottawa Chapter only looks after proctoring the exams.
