The Ottawa Chapter of Advocis has supported the Cystic Fybrosis Foundation over many years as our charity of choice. Through our Golf Tournaments, Curling Bonspiel and our annual Breakfast of Champions, we have raised both awareness of this dreadful disease as well as $25,000 in 2008 $22,000 in 2009 more than $400,000 over the years. We are always looking for volunteers to help out with our events and businesses willing to sponsor. Advocis has also been a sponsor of The Children’s Wish Foundation through the Helping Kids Be Kids Again Golf Tournament.

Advocis Ottawa Endows Bursary to Support Financial Services Students at Algonquin College

Thanks to sound financial operations for many years and a donation matching program, Advocis Ottawa has been able to create a lasting impact on the community through the Kristan K Birchard Bursary in the Algonquin College School of Business.
